Dear Lord,
Forgive me
.
.
For not knowing why I am here
For being scattered between the paths
For not using the life You gifted me with properly
and as Thou intended it to be
.
.
Dear Lord,
I seek Your forgiveness
.
.
For the mistakes I never give up
For breaking my promises to You
For my weaknesses
and arrogance
and ungratefulness to Your countless bounties upon me
.
.
Dear Lord
Forgive me
.
.
For being tired of life
For wanting what I don't have
For not valuing what I have
For not thinking of how Great You are
when I am faced with great difficulties and problems
.
.
But Lord
This is ain't repentance
For repentance is about regret and change
I do regret
and I do admit
Still..
I am too weak to change
I am only..
Seeking Your forgiveness
You are All-forgiving, All- merciful

God forgives you. You have to forgive yourself. That is the next step. Then you can move forward.
You are not too weak to change, princess. All you have to do ask Him for strength. He will give it to you.
You know.. repentance an forgiveness..they both need strength and courage...Thank you for reminding me, dear, that have enough of both to do it :)
so much honesty!
God being the all forgiving & all merciful...How can we commit mistakes that his love for us will not forgive?
May God bless you!
Yes dear Mona,.. with God's mercy.. there is always hope :)
Thank you dear :)
In the Catholic faith we have something called confession. In this practice, you ask for forgiveness and are absolved of your sins. The funny thing is you can keep committing the sin and go to confession and be absolved again.
Dear Paul,
The difference between repentance and confession, is that for repentance you would make a commitment to stop the sin altogether. Yet, God's mercy is infinite, if you fall again in the same sin, you can repent again. But, it is no repentance, if you don't actually stop doing that sin.. that's why I was saying that this is no repentance, since I regret but feel too weak to stop.
Thank you, dear
