An incomplete story (3)

And the princess reached out her arms to the hand so it might save her

but the hand
was shaky
and trembling
.
.
and just before the princess left her feet from the wall top
and just before she rests in the hand and lets it take control of her journey to heaven on earth
the hand
let her down
.
.
the princess was just about to fall
for miles and miles downwards
and end up flat on the ground
wounded or dead
.
.
but suddenly
a strong ray of light shattered the sky asunder
and solidified at its end and became a rope
and the rope wrapped itself around the princess
and brought her back to balance on the wall top
.
.
and the princess' eyes were wide open
but this time...
of amazement
slowly did she left her head up to the sky
and the sky was filled with light
for the ray of light that shattered it asunder..
melted
and flooded the sky with light
.
.
the princess smiled
she felt like smiling
she knew in her heart
the every hardship
is followed by...
LIGHT
.
.
She whispered a prayer
My Lord,
people could let me down
imaginary creatures
or false friends
could surely hurt me
but Thou
Thou alone
can always lead me to..
your heaven on earth
and your heaven above
My Lord,
To you I surrender
Let them hurt me no more
Let me hurt myself no more
Just light the way to me
and bring me safely
to my final destination
near you
up above

The light started to fade away gradually
and everything started to go back to normal
The princess is feeling a little bit cold
she rubs her arms with her hands
she looks back at the lonely fortress and hates to go back
she looks ahead at deserted heaven on earth and thinks...
maybe it is not the time yet
she looks around and see herself hanging
in the middle of nowhere
she decided to....
reach up
.
.
she stood up
reached up
and a stairway was extended to her from heaven
and she went her way up above
she gradually became out of sight
as she ascended the stairway
.
